After several emails with Tien (caseworker), she called today. We were a little apprehensive when she called, because she NEVER calls. She said that she had stayed up until Midnight to call Taiwan and asked about our case specifically. After checking the papers, they said, "Nothing since their ruling on July 6!" She said she questioned, "July 6." They said that they had sent an email and apparently she had never received it.
SO, it looks like we could be traveling in as little as 3 weeks to pick up our baby boy! Hopefully, final ruling will be early next week. She said that she would request the earliest AIT appointment available so that we can be with Reed in no time FLAT! (no pun intended)
Needless to say, we are rather excited today!

Congratulations...woo hoo! Wow, July 6th was a long time ago. Did your final ruling happen already, too? Sorry, missed the part about final ruling being next week because I was too excited! I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy final ruling.
