Wow! Our Weeks Fly By!

Sorry, I know that you are interested in our interesting lives. I'm so sorry that I've not updated sooner. On Reed's birthday, Manya brought him Breakfast. Everyone needs a Manya.

Nash thought it was a little early for Manya's breakfast surprise.

For those of you who might be wondering, yes, this is Nash's "cheese" face.

Abbey and Nash took donut holes to Reed's preschool class to celebrate.

Reed loves his class and his teacher. I think he was happy to celebrate with them.

They also picked up Britton to be able to celebrate with Reed and their friends.

What's not to celebrate about Capri Sun and Donut holes?

Nash loves to sit next to his big brother. They love each other so much.

After refreshments, Reed and his friends went out to play on the play ground.

Mrs. Kenya made Reed's "4" shirt for us.

Nash is really excited about going to preschool next year.

I have to say that I think that Reed's preschool is one of the best ever. He has learned so much.

Later, after school, Reed, Nash, Will, Abbey, and Lola went to the park for a picnic.

We love the park.

Cheetos at the park are the best.

Lola is a good swing pusher!

I think Reed had a great birthday! We actually celebrated some more at church, but the batteries on the camera died.

Surely He Can't Be Four!

That's right, for those of you who have been faithful LandLife followers throughout our adoption process, throughout the short (thankfully) life of FLAT Reed, and then bringing our baby boy home, it might be hard for you to believe that REED IS FOUR!
AAHHHH!!!! Where did the time go?

We've been in the celebratory mood for several days now. Will even decided that it was time for him to tackle our stairs. I know that scares my mom (Enna) to death!

Instead of having one of the "Abbey Extravaganzas" Birthday Parties this year, Reed is having three miniparties.

The first of which was last night at Chick-Fil-A. We were happy to have the Davidson's join us for the celebration, as well as, Lola, Manya, and Candace.

With so much going on, it was great to have Lola there to help. She's always a great help.

Reed was pretty stoked about his birthday cupcakes that had the number 4 written in M&Ms.

Nash was a bit confused about what the fuss was all about, but he won't be next month when it becomes DINOSAURville for his birthday!

Reed was really excited about the birthday presents.

I just can't quite wrap my head around the fact that I have a four-year-old. He's tall, looks like a little boy, and very articulate. Where did the time go?

Reed got some trucks, a lunchbox, a book, and MarioKart with the Steering wheel for the Wii.

We got Reed the lunchbox. Abbey said "You didn't even look at it" Reed picked it back up and said, "Oh a monkey" and put it back down.

Reed quickly tore into the presents that Lola got him.

He was really excited about the steering wheel for the Wii. We've heard that it's lots of fun.

Some of the party guests were smart enough to stay out of the flurry of giftwrap.

Reed was happy to dig into his gift from Candace.

Ohhh! A monster truck!

Carah liked her cupcake.

On tap for today:

1. Birthday Donut Holes with Reed's preschool class.
2. Birthday Cake with Church friends tonight.

Tennessee Taiwan Reunion

Today, we had our first Tennessee Taiwan reunion and it was a blast!

M enjoyed pushing L around in the car.

B is absolutely adorable.

I am not sure that L has ever met a stranger. She's bubbly and beautiful.

Will had a great time being held by lots of people! He loved getting the attention.

H is one of the cutest little boys. He was one of the first ones adopted through AGCI, the agency that we used to adopt Will and Nash.

We met at the most incredible place called "Sodium." It is a "family coffee house." It had stuff for every age group. It was great.

Of course, Nash had to gather up all of the toys he could find.

Baby E and Will wore born 2 weeks apart and were "crib" neighbors in Taiwan. Isn't it unique that we all ended up living in the same area. E's mom even used to work at the same place I work.

Ironically enough, April (H's mom) also used to work where I work!

Reed was so sweet. He really thought we were going to Taiwan today to play with his friends.

April really enjoyed holding baby Will. They are in the process of adopting another little one from Ethiopia.

L's mom and dad offered to have the next get together at their house. We're hoping for early summer.

M's mom Amy was also getting lots of baby Will time.

Will enjoyed getting to spend time with his first buddy E. It was really neat to see them together again.

Who would have known, other than God, that these two little boys would be born in the same country thousands of miles away and then would end up living 30 miles away from each other in America?

Nash, Will, H, and E are all from our agency AGCI. Hopefully all of their special mommies will get to see this post and see them all together again!

We love all of our friends at HH and MLH.

Will found plenty of places that the he could pull himself up on.

The next few pictures were of us trying to get a "Taiwan cuties photo". H's mom got the best one, but you'll have to see it on my FB.

C was very interested in his book.

E's family is going to Taiwan in 3 weeks to pick up B. They are pretty excited!

We had the best time today! It was so much fun!
