Happy, Happy Day!

Reed is teething, AGAIN! Anyway, he woke up at 4:00 and wouldn't go back to his own bed, so I brought him down to our bed. On the way through his door, he walked past the Santa count-down calendar on his door. So, at 4:00 in the morning he says, "HO! HO! HO!"

Reed went to Mother's Day Out today.

He didn't have any more "throwing food" episodes at school.

But, he didn't take a good nap at school either.

Tonight we ate over at Britty's Oma and Papa's house.

We had delicious chilli and the Klondike bars!

Reed was, of course, excited to see Mr. Jordan. He loves Mr. Jordan.

We are all excited around here because tomorrow, my vacation starts! Woo-hoo!

Snoring!

Reed woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! He was so happy!

Reed had a bit of a troubled day at Mother's Day Out.

Troubled, meaning he got in trouble! It seems Prince Charms-A-Lot thinks that he can use that cute little grin to make it okay to throw his food!

Abbey told Miss Natasha that it was okay for her to take away his food or make him sit in the corner. We were not happy to hear that he had misbehaved. I am sure that Abbey was embarrassed when she found out, because I know that I was!

Tonight, Britty came over for a little while since the mamas had to go to a dinner for the the finale` of their Bible study.

After BB got done with his class at the Y, us guys went to O'Charley's for some grub. The boys were good, and since I had spoken sternly to Reed when I got home from work about the "food throwing" he was well-behaved.

We talked to Poppy, Enna, and Bobby on the phone tonight. Then Reed had a bath. Reed loves his bathtime! He especially loves bubbles, a concept that Lola introduced.

He went to sleep fairly quickly because he had played pretty hard today. He has a stuffy nose, so hopefully that won't bother him too much.

Abbey made three loaves of sour-dough bread today, so our house smells yummy! I know that Abbey already mentioned it, but we are SOO THRILLED for our "bloggy buddies" Sarah and Kevin, they got their final ruling for their BEAUTIFUL daughter Hannah Claire today! Pray that they will be traveling very soon! We are so excited for them.

I leave you tonight with something that I find quite mean! Well, actually, it is a real eye opener. Abbey videoed me snoring last night. The only problem is, she says I was only "mildly" snoring last night. I am going to the sleep clinic in a couple of weeks, so hopefully, we will learn something then!

Please Pray

You know how you get caught up in other people's blogs? Where you find yourself celebrating with friends (Sarah and Kevin have their final ruling and will go get Miss Hannah Claire soon!), or praying through difficulties? I was checking Audrey Caroline's blog today and ran across a family who needs prayer right now. Actually, two families - the birth family and the adoptive family. Go to her blog (sorry, don't know how to do a direct link) www.our-journey-to-parenthood.blogspot.com to get the story. Adoption is such a blessing, but is filled with so many unknowns. Please keep these families in your prayers.

Going to Church

Uncle Bill and Reed had time for a photo op before church this morning.

Reed was so ultra cute today.

Carter and Caroline had fun playing with Reed after church today.

Tonight, Reed was playing peek-a-boo downstairs in the choir room. Problem is, he was using a small pole.

Tonight was Operation Christmas Child banquet at church. It was a really nice experience.

5 Christmas Trees?

We finally decorated the Christmas trees that we put up last weekend. People have told us that this would be an interesting Christmas to see how Reed takes to the trees. After just a few minutes of decorating, we realized that we would have many trees with few ornaments on the bottom! Whose idea was it to make Christmas tree ornaments in the shape of a ball!

We've heard "bawl" a lot tonight!

Night With Auntie Meghan

Britton, Reed, and the Mommies ate lunch at Subway today. That was strange, because I also ate at Subway for lunch today.

Britton and Reed played together after lunch in our family room.

Apparently, Mrs. Tamara was their jungle gym.

Appparently, driving around town was rough today because there were quite a few accidents. Reed and Britton had a little fender bender too, apparently.

Reed loves his tunnel!

Someone must have told a joke.

Tonight, Auntie Meghan kept Reed so that we could go on a date. It was wonderful! We went to eat at Pei Wei, then we went to Cheesecake factory for dessert. It was delicious.

We got a lot of Christmas shopping done today. By the way, if you buy $50.00 worth of giftcards at Kroger right now, you get $.10 off per gallon! That means we are getting gas for $1.79 a gallon tomorrow!

Jordan and Courtney came over to see Reed tonight too. Reed was worried about Jordan's boo-boo.

I think that Reed enjoyed the attention!

Correction: I KNOW Reed enjoyed the attention.

Thanks Auntie Meghan!

Goodbye Toothpicks

Reed was having a lot of fun today running around the pencil tree in the living room. Hopefully, we will decorate the trees this weekend.

Our house has "bawls" all over it! Reed thinks they are incredible!

Oh, and we can't forget the "bajoos."

Reed's coloring sheet from today at Mother's Day Out.

Tonight, we went to Target to finish our Operation Christmas Child boxes.

When we came home, Reed had bloodshot eyes!

Really, Britty gave Reed the glasses for Halloween.

Here's the pics of the new posts:

The straw is covering up some seeds that I planted where the front shrubs were. A picture from this perspective last Thursday would not be possible.

The photo would not be possible either! More shrubs gone! ... And new posts also!
