Christmas Happenings

Okay, okay, I'm sorry!!! I know that I have been a laggard blogger of the greatest sense, but I will try to do better. I am hoping that once I go to the sleep doctor, I will be able to stay up better!

Yesterday, Reed and I practiced putting our noses to the Christmas tree. I'm not sure why we needed to practice this, but we did. And, I think we did a pretty good job at it!

Reed loves his new Elmo that Miss Candace gave him.

He also did a good bit of shaking his rear-end while playing his tom-tom.

Then, Elmo and the "bock" ended up in the tree.

Reed told Mommy a joke and they laughed really hard.

He's got to start going to sleep better! Night-night is getting tough. Kay-Kay says let him cry!

We had the adult choir from church over to our house tonight, so Reed and I had to doo-dah.

Our house all dolled up for Christmas. We just love Christmas.

Aunt Bitsy came over to play with Reed during the choir party!

She taught Reed some new tricks with his ball.

We love having a house full of people!

It just feels Christmassy.

A Visit With Nana and Putty

Last night after I left to go to the sleep clinic, it seems that Reed had a good time with Mommy and Miss Candace.

So much fun that he didn't go to bed until almost 10:00.

Around 11:45 this morning, Abbey got a call from Reed's MDO teacher who told her that she was worried that Reed was sick. She said that he was not acting like himself and that his cheeks were flushed and his eyes were glassy.

Abbey went to pick him up at which point he was mysteriously cured, happy and dancing.

Hmmmm ... I think our son has already faked sick to get out of school.

Tonight we went to Nana and Putty's house for a visit. We have not seen them in TOO LONG and we love them so much! We've really been missing them.

Reed and Putty made fish faces.

Of course, Reed took the time to pose for the camera.

Happy Halloween!

Lots of pictures tonight. Not a lot of dialogue.

He is so cute!

Silly boy!

Confused Cowboy!

The horse tail is really cute!

Uncle Bill carved a pumpkin and Reed helped!

It turned out really cute!

Reed enjoyed pizza as we gave candy to children.

Reed likes riding on his rocky horse that I bought him at a garage sale recently.

He does not like the horsey's gallop noise.

I can't believe the horse holds up me!

Tonight we had a Costume Party at Brandon and Tamara's.

We went as the four seasons. Abbey was winter, Candace was Spring, Bill was Summer, and I was Fall.

Cowboy and Indian.

Danny and Megan came as Bananas in Pajamas.

There's Spring or Miss Candace!

Best Friends, Summer and Fall.

Winter and Fall.

Auntie Meghan and the cowboy.

Ellen and Portia.

Chubby Bunny.

Really chubby bunny.

Ava (a sweet little girl at the party) gave Reed a big hug!

That Crazy Boy

Reed is completely addicted to balloons. I think that I should start a label for every time that I talk about Reed's addiction to balloons. Tonight we went to Nashville to see Abbey for supper and we were at a stoplight and Reed started saying, "Bajoo!" "Bajoos!" We couldn't figure out what he was seeing until I saw that a good bit ahead of us in the Nissan dealership there were balloons! He is so observant.

Abbey and Miss Candace took our Sunday School kids to see High School Musical III this past Sunday after church. I think that the crew had a great time.

Reed was very happy to see his Mama tonight! I think that they were both missing each other.

He was also flirting with the lady who was taking our order at Otters!

He thought she was really nice!

Lola has been a huge help this month since we have been so busy with Conferences!
