Flat Reed was not happy when we came home today. Usually, he knows that when we come home with a Macy's bag that is a good sign for him. He was quite unhappy when he saw flashes of pink in the bag.
Flat Reed is getting a cousin, Joshi. She will be born in October. It's our first niece so we're pretty excited. It was also a lot of fun to pick out little girl clothes. Bobby and Alyson didn't register, so we got to pick out what we thought was cute. I hope they think its cute! Anyway, I can't get any closer pictures, because then Bobby and Alyson would see and it wouldn't be as exciting!
Flat Reed was not excited when he saw a pink package come in either. Reed's first girlfriend, Raleigh, will be born in August. Our great friend's Jeff (the faucet guy) and Holly (too sweet for her own good) are having their little girl soon. We're excited about her arrival too. We hope that we have been to Taiwan and back by the time she arrives.
We were saddened to learn tonight that our local Chick-Fil-A has ceased to offer church bulletin night. It was a great thing while we have partaken of it for the past nearly 3 years, but I guess all good things must come to an end. We're not exactly sure why they chose to end what we had been planning on being "our night out to eat" once Reed arrives. I guess it's going to be saving pennies for Krystal burgers. I believe that worked for both sets of grandparents!

At the risk of "retelling" an old story, may I just add that there is nothing like a Krystal that you have bought with "pennies" saved!!!! We are sitting on pins and needles just waiting for our precious babies to get here. Love, MOM
