Dinner With Friends

Reed and Abbey came home today! We were so glad to all be reunited!!! They picked me up on their way through Nashvegas.

Tonight we had supper at Britty's Oma and Papa's house.

We had a great supper and Reed had a lot of fun playing with Britty.

I think that Reed grew up a few years in the few days that he was gone. He is saying so many more words!

He talks constantly! Of course, he is still asking for his "Cheetos" but he also loves "Apples". We have to get a video of him saying his vowels too. It is hilarious!

Auntie Meghan loves to see Reed and he loves to see her.

Talk about growing up. Look how old Britty looks! I can't believe he is growing up so quickly!

They had some really fun construction tools that Reed loved playing with. He was not really into sharing!

Reed was very excited to see his Mama.

Reed loves Britty's Uncle Jordan.

He was playing Pee-Pie with Uncle Jordan.

Is he not the cutest thing ever?

I haven't shown you in a while or bored you with the details, but here is my CVS haul for this week.

The Absent Blog

Sorry I have been absent from the blog world over the past couple of days! I believe that we have told you how busy our month was going to be!

Sunday, I had to sing in an ensemble for both services, so Abbey and Reed came to church with me. Abbey and Reed left to go get us our Hardee's biscuits and then I slipped out of the first service after we sang to eat breakfast with the family.

Reed enjoyed getting to dance around in my Sunday School classroom.

Reed and I were exhausted Sunday after church. We took a nap while Abbey rested upstairs by watching LifeTime (bleck!). She left a little before 4:00 to go to her Bible Study. At 4:30, we woke up! I was supposed to be at children's choir at 5:00 and I had to stop at CVS to buy Reed some diapers!

We barely made it in time, but we made it!

Last night, Abbey had to go to the start of her VBS conference, so Bill and I drove to meet Lola in Jackson, so that they could keep Reed for a couple of days.

Reed ate a lot of Cheetos on the way to Jackson!

Apparently, Reed slept all night long last night and woke up to say, "Bill, Cheetos!"

And now for a video to hear Reed saying "Cheetos" Listen closely!

Bonus: I got another video to upload:

Disney!!!

Tons of Pics tonight, so not a lot of narration from me. Enjoy the pics.

Reed was introduced to Cheetos by Uncle Bill. Reed now has a new favorite word, "Cheeeetoooes!"

We started off our adventure in Downtown Disney for supper. We bought some Mickey shaped ornaments for the Christmas tree (they are all painted like different sports balls) and supper at Rainforest Cafe`.

Jane, our wonderful friend from College and Seminary, lives in FL, so she came to stay a couple of days with us.

Not only was this Reed's first visit to Disney, it was my first visit as well! We were both pretty impressed!

Tea cups, a Disney staple. They are a lot smaller on the inside than you would think.

The plan: spin fast, make Bill too sick to ride anything else, let him keep Reed while we ride the rides.

Dumbo: another staple.

Reed is the little guy beside me, if you couldn't tell.

On the "Winnie the Pooh" ride. Mesmerized.

Tomorrowland train. I know I'm getting old, because this was my favorite. Fast enough for a good breeze and no twists and turns.

We decided to head to "toon town" for Reed to be able to ride some rides. The above is what we found when we got there. Reed fell asleep somehow.

Bill, Sleepy, and I went to Philharmagic, while Abbey and Jane rode the "Buzz Lightyear" ride.

It's a Small World: staple.

Amazed at It's a Small World.

Still Amazed.

still amazed.

Taiwan, we think!

On the train with Uncle Bill, while Abbey, Jane, and I did Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain.

My guess is there is a ball that he is pointing at.

Getting excited about the lights parade.

Both of our favorite things about our trip to Disney! The LIGHTS PARADE!

Watching the Fireworks!

Time to go, a Mickey football from Jane and a Mickey plush from Uncle Bill. What a great time!

Some stats:

We arrived at 10:00 to the park.
Entered around 11:00
Reed took a little over an hour nap.
We left the park around 10:00.

1 Major meltdown in the line for Dumbo, but that was about it.

Reed is the best kid ever!

Thanks for being a part of our fun, Jane and Uncle Bill!
